Owned and operated by David Murray since 1980
on Nantucket Island. All the whirligigs and whales are crafted by hand. Each whirligig is painted with two coats of outdoor paint. The wings are balanced and rotate on brass bearings. They come assembled with a mounting pole, block, and screws. They are ready to put out in the wind and enjoy. Available colors are red and blue. There is also a gray goose and a spotted loon. Also available is a sperm whale silhouette for indoor display. It is stained with a black pole and a wooden base.
